Whirlpool WPW10455268 OEM Dishwasher Sump and Seal Assembly, Black

The Dishwasher Sump and Seal Assembly includes the sump that holds water below the dishwasher tub, and the seal (also called a gasket) that prevents leaks between the sump and the tub. This part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Kenmore®, Maytag®, JennAir®, KitchenAid®, and Amana® dishwashers; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. You must also turn off the water supply underneath the sink before installation. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner* (item W10282479) to help reduce limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher's performance. *Affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
